Not long now till I go under,
Headaches rolling in like thunder,
I'm scared, worried and tired,
Stay awake...feeling wired,
Do anything not to think,
Stay afloat so I don't sink,
Counting down days,
Do what the surgeon says,
Hope to see your face again,
When I wake, hope to feel sane,
Normal at last, I pulled through,
I can carry on now, I have you.
